Thomas Ross to be Bowles successor as President

  In an emergency meeting held on August 26, members of The University of North Carolina Board of Governors unanimously voted to appoint Thomas Ross as the new president of the UNC-system.  Ross, 60, currently serves as the president of Davidson College.

Big Shots: The exhibition

  The Weatherspoon Art Museum is currently featuring the work of Andy Warhol titled Big Shots: Andy Warhol Polaroids. The exhibition takes its name from the Big Shot Polaroid camera Warhol started using in the early ‘70s, which is the primary time period in which many Polaroids were taken.
