Music Clinic: Miles Davis Alumni Clinic. Professional musicians who performed with Miles Davis offer jazz clinics open to the public. The musicians include: Jimmy Cobb (drummer, "Kind of Blue"), Mike Stern (guitar, "The Man with the Horn"), Reggie Workman (bass) and Wallace Roney (trumpet, "Miles Davis and Quincy Jones at Montreux"). Film: "Miles Electric: A Different Kind of Blue." 2 p.m. Documentary of legendary concert at the Isle of Wight in which Davis and his fellow musicians created improvisatory sounds, incorporating rock rhythm and electric funk inspired by Jimi Hendrix, James Brown and Sly Stone.
