Performers celebrated and explored African American music through dance, mime, and song during the African American Studies Program's "Explorations into African American Music." The celebration took place Thursday, Oct. 27, in the EUC. Guest performers were: St. James Presbyterian Church Praise Team, led by Director Marvin Wright; Reflections of Glory, a dance and mime team from the Truth Deliverance Church of the Apostolic Faith, Inc., of Burlington (picture above); and the Neo Black Society Gospel Choir of UNCG (picture above).
