As an alumni and past student of several Guilford county high schools and colleges, I feel that the community needs to rally around those affected by the fire at Eastern Guilford High School. All schools and colleges should open thier doors to these students and staff so they can continue and succeed in their education. Now is the time to show them the support, and aid them with any goods and services that we, as a community can give. Also, let us recognize and support those brave first responders, the firemen, police officers, and ambulance paramedics that are so dedicated so saving lifes.

I encourage students and citizens to write your ideas into the many papers around town and let your stentorian voice be heard! Together, this will be done.
