First, I just want to say that I was totally appalled by Mr. McIntyre's column ["Don't waste time voting in 2008"]. Voting isn't all about winning or losing; it's about exercising your rights and freedoms that many people have paid for with their lives! You might not win today, but your voice will be heard which can start the process for change in the future.

Secondly, if you want to pass Spanish and still keep your sanity, go take it at Greensboro College! It is right next door to UNCG (you can walk) and the professors are awesome.

My personal favorite and someone you should talk to if you are having problems with Spanish is Mrs. Mari del Rosario. She is a truly wonderful person that made my experience with Spanish totally enjoyable. I am one to talk too, after I continually flunked Spanish I and II at community college (and everybody knows UNCG's Spanish department is a lot harder than GTCC).

So if you want to enjoy your foreign language experience while learning about Spanish-speaking people's language and culture, than go visit Mrs. Rosario and make a friend at the same time.
