More on class rings

Issue date: 9/25/07 Section: Letters to the Editor
I was happy to learn that Elizabeth Grabasky was able to have the degree option added to her university ring. It is good that the Balfour Company is so responsive and willing to cooperate with her request.
I only wish I could receive the same type of cooperation, but I suppose my situation is a bit different. You see, I graduated from "WC" in 1959.
Unfortunately, that ring is no longer available because the design was deleted from the contracts several years ago. I lost my ring the year after I "retired" from the university and have been unable to replace it. After several frustrating attempts, I gave up trying.
Thanks to Ms. Grabasky's letter, I think I shall try again and "shove" a little harder. My 50th class reunion is coming up soon, and I certainly would like to be sporting the actual ring on that occasion!
Mr. Parrish shall be hearing from me again. Thank you, Elizabeth.
The Class of '59 is not dead (yet)!

I just wanted to say that all I did was ask if the rings could possibly be changed and Mr. Parrish agreed to look into it. Mr. Parrish is a really nice and professional business man who will be willing to work with you on this matter. (Continued…)
