It's the time of the year where one may become more enthralled with the paranormal. With Halloween approaching, spirits of the past are not so easily hidden in houses, and can be found within these websites.

Whether you believe in the thereafter or not, websites like ghostresearch.org, trueghosttales.com, and ghostvillage.com can prove to be entertaining and may just give you a chill up your spine.

Ghostvillage.com offers ghost research, evidence, and discussion. It also has a "Ghost-Mart" in which one can build their own ghost-hunting kit with materials ranging from temperature sensors, voice recorders, and electromagnetic field (EMF) readers. The website also features Ghostvillage Radio, which broadcasts discussions about paranormal activity live every Friday night between 10 p.m. and midnight. They also provide links to websites with more information about the paranormal as well as materials for those people wishing to conduct more investigative research on the topic of ghosts.

Trueghosttales.com is said to offer stories about true ghost encounters. They also offer other information not just on ghosts, but vampires, ghouls, and monsters. As taken from their website, according to a 2005 Gallup poll, 32 percent of Americans believe that ghosts are real. "John Lennon's Ghost Makes Contact With His Son," "Phone Call From The Grave," and "Chris Angel" are all topics that are on their website's paranormal blog. Aside from the blog, they allow one to submit their own paranormal stories and ghost photographs for posing on the site. The website has historic ghost photographs and a freaky electronic voice phenomenon (EVP) recording, supposedly the voices of children murdered in a house that was being investigated. Trueghosttales.com also has links for other paranormal websites.

If you're more into videos, trywww.ghostvideos.ws. This website features numerous videos as well as EVPs. Careful, these are not for the faint of heart! If you truly believe in ghosts, you may want to refrain from looking at the website unless you have a friend nearby and are prepared to stay up all night.

Finally, there is always good old, YouTube. Yes, some people aren't interested in this website, but a quick search for the video "Ghosts, spirits, and demons!" may change your mind. You can also access related ghost videos on the side bar.

If you are a skeptic, or just want to formulate the most unbiased position possible, there are websites for you, too. The sites www.lioddities.com/ghost and www.ghostresearch.org feature frequently asked questions as well as some guides about how to debunk photographs of ghosts.

Regardless of your personal beliefs regarding ghosts, maybe you can get in the mood to enjoy some of the websites above this Halloween season. No matter what, though, remember to have fun!
