The trio who brought a fresh new sound just a few short months ago is back and ready to show the world just what they've been up to in 2008 thus far. You may remember them when their pure genius blew audiences away with their previous album, "Baby Geniuses." They have displayed nothing less than perfection in the past and that is what audiences expect now. This dynamic group returns to our awaiting ears with their latest creation. With their mixtape titled "The All New Super Exclusive Al Gore Bongwater Club Mixtape Vol. 1," these gentlemen went above and beyond their calling. Please welcome back the talented, the bold...Endless Mic.
The title of this album shocks some while lures others in with its dramatic effect of using a presidential candidate from years ago and "bongwater" in the same sentence. The rest of the album's lyrics share a similarity with the album's title and cover as well. Upon listening to Endless Mic's mixtape, listeners can expect cursing, a ton of sexual innuendo, and moments where you find yourself saying, "Huh" after listening to a song. I found that personally, some of the language was a little too much for me. When listening to "Baby Geniuses," there was some cursing and innuendo, but they got their point across without every other word being offensive to someone. With titles such as "Animalz" and "This Song Begets Orgies," they're guaranteed to grab the audiences attention, but not necessarily in a good way. On the other hand, they are very talented young people. Endless Mic's style and tactics have already proven to be successful while they continue to succeed with the help of each other. This latest mixtape, written and recorded in the span of one month, displays the discipline and determination the men of Endless Mic possess.
