When I think of a Student Body President, I think of someone who is well-spoken, respected, ambitious, school spirited, and ready for action. I can honestly say that there is only one name in my mind that encompasses all of these traits: David Lambert. It has been my most esteemed privilege to meet and grow in friendship with David. Throughout the past two years, I have watched him stand up for the students of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and speak on their behalf in the Student Government Association. I believe that Senator David Lambert is the best candidate for the office of Student Body President because his drive for bettering this university is evident in every action he takes.
David Lambert is not only a dear friend of mine, but an open ear to the problems of students at UNCG. David listens to the student voice and is dedicated to letting that voice be heard. He has taken a firm stance on the issues that affect the student body most, such as tuition and text book prices, parking availability, and academic advising. David is genuinely concerned with student satisfaction at UNCG, and when elected to the Presidential office, will always listen to the student voices that make this such a remarkable university.
Community involvement is an aspect that I feel is often overlooked when considering ways to improve the reputation of a university. David Lambert, however, addresses the importance of community involvement in his platform for success. By creating positive relationships with the City of Greensboro, collaborating with local businesses, and working together with community leaders, David Lambert will create a profound respect for UNCG throughout the Triad and beyond.
With Senator Lambert leading the way, I firmly believe that our campus will achieve its maximum potential. Support this change by voting on March 2nd or 3rd for David Lambert, a Student Body President who will get the job done.
