Chancellor discusses tuition increase
“The largest concern that we have now is: how do we continue to maintain quality?” asked Chancellor Brady. “How do we continue to offer high quality programs to our students to ensure that we can offer an appropriate number of sections; to be sure that we can provide student services and student support that will help us improve our retention and graduation rates? Also, how can we continue to recruit and retain the very best faculty?”
Brady asked her audience these, along with several other heavy-hitting questions last Monday during an open forum for students in the EUC.

N.C. middle school wrongfully accepts money for grades
When I was in high school, almost any student organization that wanted to raise money on the fly would get several dozen of Krispy Kreme donuts and sell them to the students and parents being dropped off at school that morning for five dollars.
The News and Observer in Raleigh reported on Wednesday that Rosewood Middle School in Goldsboro has done something similar, with a slight twist.
Spartans fall to ninth ranked Duke
Men’s Basketball traveled to Duke on Friday to take on the AP 9th ranked Blue Devils as well as the Cameron Crazies.
In the 96-62 loss, forward Ben Stywall totaled 19 points and 8 rebounds. All of Stywall’s points came in the second half at Cameron Indoor.
Zombies invade the campus of UNCG
The past few days have marked a drastic change in wardrobe for some UNCG students. Some students can be seen sporting bandannas around their arms, legs or head, while others have added a Nerf gun to backpack and coat as the thing that they carry in between classes.
